Thai Transport
Ayutthaya Tuk Tuk

A less-well-known variety of three-wheeled transport in Thailand, this Tuk Tuk is one of many that services the old Thai Capital of Ayutthaya.
As is the case in Bangkok, the Tuk Tuk is mainly utilized by tourists, and is an interesting way of seeing the sights in Ayutthaya.
Unlike the more familiar Tuk Tuk, these have a passenger seat next to the driver. And since there are two rows of seats in the back, they are more useful than their Bangkok counterparts.

Yep, 6 people can fit in there!

The back of a tiny truck based soi-taxi known as the "Bok Bok". Think of this as a 4-wheeled Tuk Tuk and you have the idea. Small, noisy, uncomfortable, but somehow likable.
Unlike its 3-wheeled friend, the Bok Bok taxi can take a total of 7 passengers, including two rows of three facing in the back, and one beside the driver in the tiny cab.

Tiny taxi carries 7 + driver

These tiny taxi trucks are used in medium-sized "sois" in Bangkok to ferry passengers to and from the main road. Six passengers cram into the back, with an additional (lucky) passenger, with short enough legs, riding shotgun with the driver.
They are known locally (at least where I live) as "bok bok" taxis, an onomatopoeic name derived from the sound of a coin tapping on the frame of the truck to indicate that a passenger wanted out. Now a wired buzzer is fitted.
