Car wash tips
According to Windshields LA, you need to wash your car at least once or twice a month. You can wash it more frequently if you find that it is dirty. There are several expensive tools and cleaning material available for washing your car. However, you can wash your car just as efficiently with simple tools. Before you begin washing your car, collect the following equipment together: two buckets, a car wash solution, a wash mitt made from sheepskin, soft rags, a chamois, a garden hose that has a spray nozzle. If you plan to wax your car later, do not use a car wash solution that contains wax.
Start by filling up one of the buckets with clean water and the other with soapy water. Rinse your car from the top to the bottom using a strong stream of water from the hose. Hold the hose a little away from the body of the car so that paint does not get damaged. Next, soak your wash mitt in soapy water and start soaping down your car section by section. Do not press down too hard or you may scratch the surface. As you soap each section, soak the mitt in the bucket of clean water and rinse out the soapy water from the section that you have just cleaned. Use a slow and gentle stream of water for the rinsing.
Keep repeating this process until you complete washing the car. Start from the top and work your way towards the bottom of the car. Do not use the wash mitt to clean extra dirty sections like the wheels and tires. Once the body is clean, use the soft rags soaked in soapy water to clean the extra dirty areas. Finally, rinse your car from top to bottom making sure no traces of soap remain. Dry out the surface with the help of the chamois cloth. This will help get rid of the water beads that will otherwise leave behind ugly spots. Your car is now washed and ready to be taken for a spin.
