“Skill Driving Experience with IMC” Project Launch
Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd., producer and distributor of FORMULA magazine, Car Stereo magazine, 4 WHEELS Magazine and The World of Cars Yearbook as well as Organizer of “THE THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO”, introduces “Skill Driving Experience with IMC” Training Project at Thai Bridgestone Proving Ground, Amphoe Wang Noi, Ayutthaya.
Ms Chamaiporn Paphatphong, Assistant Marketing Director of Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. and Project Director said, “Car control skill in potentially dangerous situations along with self confidence to take decisive action to avoid collisions is crucial, because road accidents and the resultant losses happen partly due to lack of driving skill”.
That reasoning originated “Skill Driving Experience with IMC” Project, which will have 3 professional racing drivers—namely Mr. Nattavut Charoensukawatana, Mr. Sirakup Metanee and Mr. Vuthinant Sapavasu—as instructors to teach techniques and give training both in classroom and on the track.
“We simulate real life situations at each of the 3 stations for trainees to learn how to avoid common accidents like car losing balance in a curve and spinning out, and also to sharpen their driving skills in coping with emergency situations correctly and appropriately for each type of car e.g. FWD, RWD and AWD, as they require different handling. Towards the end of the course, the trainee will have a chance to experience car racing by sitting alongside Mr. Nattavut Charoensukawatana doing hot laps in a Motor Expo Team race car that has actually run in the Toyota One Make Race”, added Chamaiporn.
In the year 2009 “Skill Driving Experience with IMC” Project will give 2 training courses, on 29 August and 26 September respectively. For further enquiry please call 02-641-8444 ext. 405. Members of IMC Magazines are entitled to a special discount and participators in “Buy a Car…Win a Car” in “THE 25th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO 2008” also stand a chance of being lucky in getting picked for free training”.
