Mitsubishi is starting to release more information about the forthcoming Mirage eco-car. Set to be released in Thailand in March 2012, the Mirage looks to compete with the Nissan March and Honda Brio.

The flooding that has been making life difficult for millions in Thailand since July is now inundating Bangkok. We took a camera and here are some images from Ladprao road taken yesterday.

I stumbled upon this extremely useful website today. It is completely self evident what is going on when you look at the site, although it is in Thai.

But in case there is any doubt, you look for the postal code of the area you are interested in, and you will see a percentage of flooding. The other figure is the number of new updates the site has received within that area.

So, if you are out of town and wondering if your area is flooded yet, or you are planing to travel within Bangkok, this might help.

With the flood water moving in and affecting the lives of millions of people in Thailand and the region, and with climate change proponents predicting more of the same in the years ahead, it might be wise to have some plans in place to protect your transportation.

The Yaris and Vios are getting old, and although a 2012 Yaris is being prepared for Europe and other markets, there is reason to suspect that Toyota might drop the Yaris and Vios, and replace them with an entirely new car. Oh boy!

Let's take a look at the Toyota Etios, a car which looks like Toyota's most likely contender for Thailand's eco-car project.

Are you waiting for the new 2012 Honda Civic to make it's way to Thailand? The outgoing Civic is a nice car, and you'd be forgiven for expecting the 2012 model to be a substantial step forward. But, according to Consumer Reports, the new Civic could well be a disappointment.

Charn Thaiphadungpong, 57, dropped his nephew off at Temrak Suksa School in Nonthaburi. Is this the face of the 2012 Honda CR-V? We can only hope it's not, but, the current model isn't exactly a beauty either. Still, the 2007 Honda CR-V is set to be replaced by an all new 2012 model in time for the new year.

Driving in Bangkok can be extremely stressful. Keeping a cool head, while contending with what can accurately be described as deplorable driving conditions, is not easy. But reaching your destination without incident is only half the battle. Now you have to find a parking space.
