I just got back from the Chevrolet Cruze launch at the KL Convention Centre, where GM’s global C-segment sedan was unveiled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. The PM also read out the much anticipated price of the Cruze – RM97,888 for the sole 1.8-litre variant imported CBU from Korea. The on the road price excluding insurance is RM98,767.60.

The Cruze is powered by a 1.8-litre Ecotec engine with 140 bhp and 176 Nm of torque. Major equipment include dual airbags, traction control, ABS, EBD, in-dash six-CD changer and climate control.
