19 Killed, 22 Injured in Saraburi bus crash and fire

Reports of yet more tragic road deaths in Thailand indicate that at least 19 people have died and 22 others were injured in a collision between a 18-wheeler truck and a Bangkok-Roi Et bus.

At about 5 am this morning an 18-wheel truck ran across the traffic island on the Mitraphap highway and collided with the bus. Following the collision the bus went on fire. The Bangkok Post described the fire as a blaze.

The driver of the truck survived the crash and has been detained for questioning.

A pick-up truck that was behind the bus was also involved in the collision.

The dead and injured were from the bus and pick-up.
