10th Generation Toyota Altis Supports E20

The 2008 Toyota Corolla Altis is going to land in showrooms any day now. Although details are still not officially released, there are some banners on display outside some Toyota dealers. One of these showed the "E20" logo next to the Altis, so I assume that means that the new Altis will be E20 compatible, and this should translate into a reduction in price compared to the outgoing model.

Apart from that, it will obviously lead to cheaper running costs give then lower price of E20 fuel.

More details on the new Altis soon!

sorry to post a reply to this one so late ... but i thought that since u read the training documents at the dealer... u knew abt E20 thing also..

(maybe i read more training documents at the dealer.. in which one page mentioned E20... after all the comparisions with civic ;) )

I must have missed it...

Well... in my defence, the sales guy was standing over me, I was in a hurry to go somewhere, and I was trying to remember as many details as possible. Actually, I was looking for E20 information too, but didn't notice in the loose-leaf folder I was handed. Anyway... thanks for the post.
